Evolve are recruiting for a global leader in the field of clinically proven, innovative medical equipment for health monitoring and therapy. They are seeking an autonomous National Account Manager to manage the sales and budget across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial relationships with existing and new customer, maintaining a consistent, high level of service delivery, whilst identifying new business opportunities. This role will work with Pharmacist and GP groups, and some wholesalers accounts too.

Essential Requirements
Ideally, you will have 4 - 6 years national (or key) account management experience managing large wholesalers and pharmacy buying groups.
FMCG and Pharmacy wholesaler background with some experience of strategy implementation is desirable.
Ideally some leadership experience.
Experience with opening new large accounts as well as further developing existing accounts.
Previous experience in a consumer product environment.
Knowledge of OTC sales, the pharmacies channel and/or a medical environment is an advantage.
Ability to work autonomously.

Role Responsibilities
The National Account Manager manages sales and budgets for existing customers, ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets.
Furthermore, he/she manages the commercial relationships with existing and proactively contacts customers to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, whilst identifying new business opportunities.
Secure across the-board supervision for all the customer segments and report on all the significant changes on the market.
Analyse customers according to development potential, trade margins, sales revenues and average revenues and develop and implement corresponding plans for measures.
Involvement in the development of a strategic customer processing concept and the annual business plan in order to achieve sales and earnings targets.
Prepare action plans in cooperation with the sales manager and the management to expand the business.
Plan and comply with annual budgets, i.e. control the sales development of existing customers and compensate sales decreases by recruiting new customers.
Develop pricing policy.
