We are currently recruiting for a market leading healthcare provider organisation, who are seeking a Senior Bid Manager to support their commercial function. This position will be responsible for writing tenders and proposals for the provision of our client’s healthcare rehabilitation services into the public sector. This role can be home-based, with some travel to our client’s offices in Hampshire and Birmingham.

Essential Requirements:
Significant experience (minimum 2 years preferred) supporting and contributing to bids/tender with proven success.
Excellent proposal writing and editing experience.
Ideally experience in the healthcare and/or legal sectors.
Experience managing numerous bids simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage numerous tender simultaneously.
Strong communication skills.
Have robust project management skills.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Leading the bid writing process.
Developing high quality text for all types of tenders.
Analysing complex tender documents.
Contributing to the research phase of bid writing, working with others across the business.
Creating and managing the libraries of tender responses, examples etc. across group companies.
Reviewing successful and unsuccessful bids to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Liaising with Subject Matter Experts across the business and staying up to date with best practices.
Supporting tenders and strategic discussions with clients by creating high quality PowerPoint presentations (or through other software if appropriate).
Displaying creative flair in writing.
Using Visio to create graphics.
