We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Medical Sales Representative within the Respiratory market. This role will be working across Glasgow, and will function predominantly at Primary Care level.

Requirements:
Our client are looking for experienced Medical Sales Representatives, who have experience of working across Glasgow Health Boards.
This position is open to trainees who are self-motivated to start a new career within the business.
Respiratory experience is ideal however not essential.
Ideally you will have proven success in sales.
Presenting with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (both with customers and colleagues).
Awareness of external competitive practice.
Strong results focus.
Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
ABPI qualified ideal but not essential.

Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for selling defined brands in your specialist therapy area to clinical customers across Primary Care predominantly, and Secondary Care on an ad-hoc basis (GPs, Practice Nurses, Retail Chemists, Hospital Customers) through face to face contact.
Organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings and symposiums.
Develop and continuously improve a high standard of selling skills, product knowledge and knowledge of the NHS.
Demonstrate a level of knowledge in your therapy area that makes you a recognised specialist in this area.
Deliver against an activity plan within key practices, retail and hospital sectors as agreed through effective planning and implementation of call and meetings plans.
Deliver agreed tactics within territory action plan and ensure plans are up to date.
Ensure that all activities comply with corporate governance standards and the ABPI code.
Keep a daily record of customer contacts and share with colleagues.
Identify the needs of customers and opportunities to provide solutions to develop business.
Identify emerging customers who will influence sales.
Advocacy - Work to develop key customers in line with brand strategy and as part of the local account plan.
