Our Client discovers, develops and markets innovative, high quality medicines throughout the world. They place primary emphasis on patients and their families and observe the highest legal and ethical standards in our business activities.
They are now looking to recruit an Epilepsy Brand Manager to support the Epilepsy Brand Director in a number of different tasks including hands-on marketing project management, support with brand meetings and running the marketing forum webexes and other ad hoc projects as required.
Main duties/responsibilities:
• Support the EMEA Epilepsy Brand Director
• Monitor roll out of the tactical brand plan, attending business related meetings and ensuring alignment with EMEA strategy in allocated markets as defined each half year
• Support the EMEA Epilepsy Brand Director in the management of the EEL discretionary spend for specific products, working closely with finance teams and taking responsibility specific projects / countries you are responsible for
• Lead the copy approval process for specific product EMEA materials and activities you are responsible for
• Liaise effectively with internal departments and external agencies (med affairs, med info, communications, marketing agencies) complying with Company SOPs and Codes of Practice including ABPI
• Maintain compliance to SOPs, processes, practices and guidelines and aiming towards excellence
• Lead and support local marketing planning in collaboration with affiliate teams for allocated markets under guidance of EMEA Brand Director
o To tailor strategies according to market dynamics and integrate feedback and insights from KOLs and sales force / MSLs / market access / affiliate team
o To ensure tactical plans and priorities are in line with targeting, segmentation and local account plans
• Work in close collaboration with the Communication Department in order to maximise the media as a cost-effective marketing channel for disease awareness, patient advocacy & brand awareness
• Work in close collaboration with the Learning & Development functions in order to ensure that all brand specific training plans are developed and executed on schedule and according to the brand strategy
• Work in close collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Services Business Intelligence and analytics team in order to ensure good understanding of the market and clear metrics to assess success of activities as well as identifying trends, opportunities and threats for each of the brands in order to propose corresponding actions if and when needed.
• Work closely with the other EMEA Brand Directors; Global Marketing and Operations Director
• Ensure sharing of best practice amongst affiliates, with specific focus on allocated markets & support the EMEA Brand Director when running appropriate forums

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and have proven experience and success in specialist area, preferably Neurology or Epilepsy. Experience of different therapeutic fields and the ability to demonstrate marketing excellence in a variety of areas would be ideal. Proven experience and track record of success at a national / regional level achieving brand sales growth and previous specialist sales experience would be desired.
