Our Client is a rapidly growing speciality pharmaceutical company engaged in the development and commercialisation of prescription medicines for the treatment of unmet therapeutic needs in major markets. With more than 300 people employed by the Company, it is headquartered in Scotland with commercial operations throughout the rest of the UK and continental Europe and a US head office.



As the Regional Business Manager you will effectively lead, manage and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to meet sales targets and grow sales in a designated territory, helping an already successful team to further success through your experience, support and leadership.



Responsibilities:

Achieving sales targets through highly trained, directed and motivated staff.

Effectively communicating current marketing strategies and initiatives to immediate team and drive performance in line with these strategies.

Accompanying Representatives in the field on a regular basis to monitor performance and to assess training needs.

Liaising with the Clinical Partnership team to streamline activities in region.

Representing the company in a professional manner.

Day to day management and professional development of Representatives.

Providing individual coaching, feedback and motivation.

Facilitating team communication, morale and effectiveness.



The role is accompanied with an excellent package which includes a negotiable basic salary based on experience, pension, healthcare, bonus scheme and company car scheme.



Qualifications

ABPI qualification essential



Person/Experience Required

You must have previous management experience and be able to demonstrate a track record of success in leading and coaching a high performance sales team.

You will have substantial experience in Pharmaceutical sales

You should be of graduate-calibre, able to develop and maintain high levels of therapeutic and NHS knowledge.

Competitive and highly motivated, you will possess strong communication skills and a keen team work ethic.

You should live on territory, have a full driving licence, and be eligible for employment in the UK.
