Our client is recruiting for a senior market access role in the form of an Key Account Manager, whose role will be to ensure local market access, that customers are confident to prescribe products and are moved along the adoption ladder to deliver profitable sales and advocacy.

Key responsibilities:

Define, create, monitor and revise Account Plans so that they meet and exceed top down targets for the short (1yr), medium (2-3 yrs).

Ensure sales targets and profits are met through effective deployment of resource by monitoring and reviewing the accounts.

Develops and ensures account management excellence across the region so that Account Plan is met.

Develop the Account resource so that they can identify key decision makers and deliver high value interactions.

Develops Account resource and monitors activity so that it is compliant with the abpi code and company SOPs.

Set and manage realistic expense and revenue/cost budgets so that sales targets are met or beaten.

The identification, management and development of relationships with key stakeholders groups, to monitor levels of awareness and attitudes, and to ensure support of Account priorities.

Develop and deploy Account resource to identify develop and deploy KOLs



Degree level education or equivalent experience.


Person/Experience Required

Key Account Management Experience working with CCG Payor customers as well as Clinical Leads

Experience working in a key account management structure- Desirable

Account planning experience and proven ability in writing account plans

Ability to lead without authority

Strong cross-functional working

Experience working with payers - able to align with customer priorities of health economic impact, identify long term partnership


NHS knowledge- Local NHS knowledge would be a distinct advantage
