This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market leading pharmaceutical company as a Key Account Manager. Our client is a research-based, pharmaceutical company with an outstanding cardiovascular product portfolio

As a Key Account Manager you will develop and implement a regional Account Plan to maximise market access and brand performance in addition you will coordinate the deployment of resources locally within the framework of a Key Account Plan. The role has customer facing responsibility for key healthcare professionals and is also responsible for coaching and line management of the Account Team. Ideal candidates will have market access and sales management experience, with a proven track record and the ability to demonstrate sales success. The position is ideally suited to an ambitious Key Account Manager wishing to broaden their skill base and develop a career with a leading pharmaceutical company in a specialised area.

The role is accompanied by an excellent package which includes a negotiable basic salary based on experience, pension, healthcare, bonus scheme and car allowance.

Person/Experience Required

The successful candidate will have Key Account Management and Market Access experience across the defined region. Line management experience desirable but not essential. Must have the ability to understand, digest and communicate clinical data in a coherent and credible way. Highly driven, motivated and with a track record of success in a hospital/secondary care environment. Ability to demonstrate account planning skills, customer focus, KOL development and relationships. Strong team player.

Ideally experienced in cardiovascular medicine with a broad understanding of the disease area and relationships across the geography.
