Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting newly created role with a highly dynamic Pharmaceutical organisation, boasting an industry leading product pipeline. Our client has an extensive range of near market products within rare disease areas and they are seeking a Project Manager/Launch Team Leader to head-up the launch of a specialist Oncology brand in the UK. In this role you will bring together internal teams and liaise effectively with key opinion leaders, and lead product development and life-cycle strategy (goals, timelines, budgets, resources) in line with the company business plan to optimise product value and IP.

Ideal applicants will have solid Project Management skills with sound knowledge in Regulatory Affairs, QA, CMC, Commercial or similar.
Pre-approval, pre-launch and / or product launch experience desired.
Expert knowledge of the Pharmaceutical development process within the Pharmaceutical industry.
A life sciences degree or highly significant, relevant experience.
Experience in project managing cross-functional teams.
Project Management qualification preferred but not essential.
Experience of the Rare Diseases, such as Oncology will be advantageous but not essential.
The ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Leading, directing and motivating cross-functional teams to define and achieve the project goals to an agreed timeframe in line with commercial expectations including preparation for commercial launch. Team members include Representatives from development, commercial, technical supply, business development and legal where appropriate.
Establishing a detailed project plan, track progress and signal deviations.
Identify and review project issues and manage conflict resolution.
To contribute expertise; assisting in the formation and execution of the company business strategy, licensing activities and portfolio management.
Effective alliance management with development partners i.e. quality, cost and time management.
Effective communication processes to ensure accurate, timely and appropriate project-related information is presented internally and externally as required and regular updates on project development activities, milestones and budget to senior management.
UK and some international travel will be required to suit the requirements of the role.
