We are currently recruiting for a market leading healthcare organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as an Outcomes Specialist within the Diabetes market. This exciting role will be working across the North East of England. The purpose of this position is to identify and develop formulary opportunities to ensure full listing of the company’s products and services across North East England.

Candidate Background:
Experience of successful formulary listing and implementation (Diabetes experience would be desirable).
It is essential that candidates have strong market access experience with formulary success.
Proven sales track record in working with Drug and Therapeutics committees.
Proven experience of translating clinical data into a successful sales outcome and selling to a group/panel.
Degree educated or equivalent.
Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills.
Proven experience of translating data into a successful sales outcome and selling to a group/panel.

Role responsibilities:
Map out LHE priorities across the territory to identify formulary and implementation opportunities and then incorporate into a territory business plan utilising the MH blue sheets.
In partnership with the LHE, agree and complete the SLA in regard to formulary implementation and ongoing service level and attach to organisation.
Working with the internal cross team facilitate and lead the implementation as per SLA, working with Area Business Managers to secure appropriate resources for successful implementation.
In partnership with organisational leads, identify opportunities based on local health economics and clinical outcomes within the Diabetes pathways for new business models and gain contract commitment.
Achieve revenue target against above proposals.
Build trustful and effective relationships by promoting teamwork, collaboration and sharing. Models and encourages open two-way communication.
Working with Business Operations (BO) accurately forecast formulary pipeline to assist in forecasting product and share/sales growth.
In conjunction with BO ensure timely response in submission of documentation to tender/formulary adverts ensuring price is in line with company pricing schedule and appropriate clinical outcome evidence is detailed to ensure our client is the company of choice.
Work in a cohesive and timely manner with the Medical and Public Affairs Department, Business Operations, Marketing and 3rd parties to establish appropriate protocols, incorporating clinical evidence for strategic development of policy for health organisations.
Ensure all relevant company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
Achieve the minimum expectations of the role as detailed in the Outcome Specialist Standards & Expectations document.
Maintain understanding of ongoing changes within NHS and legislation changes that could potentially impact on business.
Maintain individual skills and technical knowledge to company standards.
