We are currently recruiting for a leading, multinational Medical Device organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Health Economist. This exciting role will be working at the company’s head office, based in Surrey. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the preparation of high quality health economic evidence to support a wide range of Medical Devices. This is an opportunity for a Health Economist to develop their Medtech career and be key to being central to the commercial execution.

This role is open to post graduates (MSc or PhD) who are familiar with Health economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) methods and have excellent communication skills.
First degree in economics, statistics or life sciences.
Post graduate qualification in health economics.
Health economic experience within healthcare. Ideally within the medical device industry.
Detailed understanding of the role of health economics within the NHS and medical device industry.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of economic evaluation concepts.
High quality demonstrable writing skills.
Individual experience in building budget impact/cost effectiveness models from inception to completion.
Record of delivering projects on time, within budget using high quality project management skills.
Proficient in use of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.

Role Responsibilities:
Prepare health economic evidence necessary for successful endorsement of the company's products and successful interventional guidance by NICE.
Assist in the development of health economic market access solutions to communicate the value for money of medical devices to the NHS.
Preparation of health economic case for new and existing products.
Assist in development of UK strategic pricing position for new products.
Market research to understand the economic burden of disease segments in the UK healthcare system.
Managing reimbursement submissions.
Business case and budget impact/cost consequence model development as part of the UK Market Access Team.
Customer facing interviews and support for the Field Sales Teams.
