The Account Specialist key responsibilities include:

  • Customer selling and relationship management

  • Delivering expected performance and beyond in the territory

  • Developing Smart pre-call objectives in line with territory strategy and brand team goals

  • Effectively handling objections or concerns

  • Consistently gaining a logical, reasonable call to action/close on every sales call

  • Educating medical providers and staff

  • Identifying, developing and maintaining disease state experts and speakers/advocates

  • Continuously striving to gain market intelligence

  • Capacity to organise and manage stakeholder meetings

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Educated to degree level

  • Relevant industry sales skills

  • Knowledge of industry and local market conditions

  • Strong selling skills

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of customer/disease area requirements
